FortyNorth Security is a boutique information security consulting company specializing in offensive security work.
FortyNorth Security is interested in finding an intern to work with our offensive security practitioners for a role largely focused on tool development, security assessments, and potentially training. FortyNorth Security regularly performs a wide range of security assessments ranging from web application assessments, penetration tests, and red team work. While performing these tests, our team commonly finds gaps in existing public, and internal, toolkits and identifies potential new tooling that would allow us to better, and more efficiently, perform our assessments. Identifying these gaps allows our team to build out a "wish list" of tool ideas for our team to create. Additionally, FortyNorth Security employees commonly give training at our own public training events, industry conferences (such as BlackHat and NorthSec), and private events.
Many of the skills required for this role can be taught, however, already possessing some of the skills listed below will help accelerate your ability to succeed in this role. We're looking for someone who will work well with our team and is passionate about the work.
