Step 4 in our #5steps2sase series and part of our ongoing thread about SASE.

5 Steps to SASE virtual series: Step 4 June 23

So far in our #5steps2sase series, we’ve focused a lot on enabling individual users to safely connect to resources and use data obtained from them. But part of the beauty of SASE is that it enables the same policies to be applied to remote sites such as branch offices so that people can safely—and seamlessly—go from working at home to working in an office. A lot of SASE vendors have technology for end users, but few also have the robust SD-WAN and network security capabilities needed to connect and protect distributed sites, especially at global scale, something that Forcepoint has been doing for years.

On June 23, I’ll chat with Cat Allen, Forcepoint’s lead evangelist for Secure SD-WAN and firewall solutions. We will talk about the role that SD-WAN is playing in SASE; how sites aren’t just physical locations, they’re also cloud-based environments such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services; and the issues involved in managing thousands of sites from a single console. It’s a great topic and one that plays a big part in how SASE is evolving.

No slides, just a good conversation. We hope you enjoy it as well. Register for the step 4 conversation today.
