Arctic Wolf launched the Aurora Agentic SOC at RSAC 2026, billing it as the world’s largest commercial agentic Security Operations Center. The announcement represents a significant platform rebuild for the company, shifting from a human-led model to one that puts AI agents at the center of SOC operations while keeping human experts involved for oversight and high-judgment tasks.
The Aurora Agentic SOC runs on the new Aurora Superintelligence Platform and uses a Swarm of Experts framework that orchestrates three types of agents. Oversight Agents, including a Swarm Orchestrator and a Swarm Judge, coordinate activity and validate outcomes. Authoritative Agents bring domain expertise to tasks such as triage, investigation, response, threat hunting, proactive security, and risk management. Process Agents handle repetitive agentic SOAR tasks, with hundreds already operational at launch. Every agent in the swarm operates under the guardrails of the Aurora Superintelligence Platform, supported by a Security Operations Graph and an AI Trust Engine.
“Customers are clear: They’re frustrated with AI and agentic SOC solutions that are complex to deploy, difficult to operationalize, and impossible to fully trust,” said Nick Schneider, president and CEO of Arctic Wolf. “What organizations really want is a partner who unlocks AI’s benefits for them, with a turnkey, built-in, and accessible approach. That’s exactly what the Aurora SOC delivers.”
Dan Schiappa, president of technology and services, emphasized the architectural distinction: “Most AI solutions simply automate pieces of the old SOC model. We rebuilt the SOC from the ground up for the AI era. The result is a safer, smarter, more powerful SOC that delivers trustworthy outcomes at scale.”
The economics driving the announcement are pointed. According to Gartner, standing up a SOC requires eight to twelve analysts, and Arctic Wolf puts median U.S. cybersecurity analyst salaries at around $106,000. The company says it delivers comparable outcomes at roughly 80 percent lower cost. Performance numbers cited include cases resolving 15 times faster with three times higher-quality tickets, and full agentic SOC deployment in as little as 10 days, against an industry standard of more than a year.
The Aurora Agentic SOC is available today as part of Arctic Wolf’s Security Operations Bundles and Aurora Managed Endpoint Security. Current customers and MSPs using those solutions receive the new capabilities at no additional cost, with benefits from network effects drawn from more than 10,000 customer environments.
