Hey everyone,
I’m working on a project called Raddar.
The idea is to aggregate trending content from multiple platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) into one place, ranking creators and content based on virality and engagement.
The goal is to help users:
\\-Discover trends faster
\\-Track what’s going viral across platforms
\\-Identify emerging creators
But here’s the twist: I’m also experimenting with a gamified system.
Users can:
\\-Spot and share content they think will go viral
\\-Earn points if it actually blows up
\\-Climb global leaderboards
\\-Build a reputation as a “trend scout”
The long-term idea could even include rewards for top users and verified creators owning their viral content across platforms.
There’s also a lot more I’m thinking about adding, like:
\\-Comment systems around trends (discussions, insights, predictions)
\\-Watchers” tracking how many people are monitoring a trend early
\\-Speed/velocity metrics to measure how fast something is going viral
\\-Deeper analytics on engagement across platforms
Before going further, I’d love honest feedback:
\\-Would you actually use something like this?
\\-What would make it valuable for you?
\\-Does something similar already solve this problem for you?
