In Cyber security growth and the learning curve is very steep, it’s not easy and everyone knows that, first of all Cyber Security is a broad term which is also a misconception and we need to understand that we cannot learn everything in the same time.

When I used to learn back in the day I just learn by doing and reading, by reading I mean alot of reading, there wasn’t much resources and platforms to learn from like now.

There was no hackthebox, tryhackme, offsec’s labs “proving grounds” or anything else. the resources were limited, people used to scare away whoever asks about anything, when I was young I was clueless of what to learn but still kept reading and improvising, I used to miss around with scripts, break my linux installation, learn to troubleshoot vmware and virtual box environment problems.

Learning hacking makes you a better problem solver, that’s what we need to be better problem solvers not better hackers, problem solvers tend to be better hackers, because they know how to find answers and solve the riddle or issue that they are facing.

We are stubborn, innovative and resilient, we don’t give up and or let our family down, there is alot at stake.

Back then the world was more peaceful than now.
