Today, we are pleased to celebrate a major achievement for Sekoia with the attainment of the SOC2 Type 1 certification for its entire infrastructure.
In this blog post, we’ll explain the journey to this high-end certification.
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a compliance standard that serves as the industry reference for organizations to demonstrate their commitment to managing customer data securely. SOC 2 is a reporting framework that evaluates the design and effectiveness of a company’s security protocols.
In other words, it measures how well a company’s internal controls performs when it comes to protect their data against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
As a provider of security solutions, we understand the importance of the trust our partners and customers place in us.
For Sekoia, this certification materializes our commitment to protecting the sensitive information of our clients in all our regions (more information about our regions here).
The regions in scope are:
Obtaining such certification is a long-term commitment.
At Sekoia, it required embedding the SOC2 expectations into every deployment of our solution, rigorous personnel training, and a mandate of excellence from our leadership—all verified by a stringent independent review work from our auditor A-Lign (http://a-lign.com/).
Obtaining this SOC report is undoubtedly a significant collective success for Sekoia, but it is just another step in our pursuit of excellence in information security. We strive to continuously improve our stance to adapt to emerging threats and maintain relevant information security standards.
