What is the SOC2 compliance?

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a compliance standard that serves as the industry reference for organizations to demonstrate their commitment to managing customer data securely. SOC 2 is a reporting framework that evaluates the design and effectiveness of a company’s security protocols.

In other words, it measures how well a company’s internal controls performs when it comes to protect their data against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

The certification process

Obtaining such certification is a long-term commitment.

At Sekoia, it required embedding the SOC2 expectations into every deployment of our solution, rigorous personnel training, and a mandate of excellence from our leadership—all verified by a stringent independent review work from our auditor A-Lign (http://a-lign.com/).
