Advantest Corporation has confirmed that it is responding to a cybersecurity incident that may have affected portions of its internal network. The company, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, disclosed the cyberattack in an official statement today, noting that the situation remains under active investigation and that details could change as new information emerges. 

The Advantest cyberattack was first detected on February 15, when the company identified unusual activity within its IT environment. Upon discovering the suspicious activity, Advantest immediately activated its incident response protocols.
