For the second consecutive year, LevelBlue has been named a top-ranked Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), placing fifth on the prestigious MSSP Alert’s Top MSSP 250 list for 2025. “LevelBlue is the world’s largest pure-play Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), offering AI-driven, cloud-native cybersecurity solutions across managed security, MDR, offensive security, strategic advisory, and incident response,” MSSP Alert said. “With the acquisitions of Trustwave, Stroz Friedberg, and Elysium Digital, LevelBlue delivers unmatched scale, expertise, and a fully integrated portfolio of services.” LevelBlue has a long history of being a top-ranked vendor on the MSSP 250. This is the second consecutive year LevelBlue has finished in the top five. When the company was part of AT&T, it finished first in 2021, and LevelBlue's recent acquisition Trustwave has placed in the top ten for multiple years. The MSSP Alert awards team noted that the addition of new technologies and human-led resources to the LevelBlue stack helps it improve security maturity, close skills gaps, and build long-term cyber resilience for its clients. “Its platform combines LevelBlue’s Unified Security Management (USM), Trustwave’s Fusion platform, and elite threat intelligence teams like SpiderLabs to accelerate detection, streamline response, and reduce cyber risk. LevelBlue also holds FedRAMP and StateRAMP authorizations, enabling secure, compliant services for government and defense organizations,” MSSP Alert said in its description of LevelBlue. MSSP Alert’s list identifies and honors the top MSSPs worldwide. The rankings are based on MSSP Alert’s 2025 readership survey combined with the site’s editorial coverage of MSSP, MDR, and MSP security providers. The annual list and research tracks the MSSP market’s ongoing growth and evolution. The 2025 MSSP Alert Top 250 MSSPs honorees were announced on December 9 during MSSP Alert Live, an event held last week at the MGM National Harbor Resort and Casino in Maryland. Jesse Emerson, LevelBlue’s Chief Product Officer, was a presenter during the event along with the other finalists, and he also participated in the CyberRisk Alliance webinar Inside the MSSP 250. Emerson was one of several executives on a panel representing the top finishers in this year’s voting who answered questions about what makes a top MSSP and discussed changes to the threat landscape in 2026.LevelBlue, an Honored Participant in the Award Ceremony
