Over the past few years, I’ve often come across Camunda . Camunda is an open-source platform for business process automation and orchestration that helps coordinate complex workflows involving people, systems, and devices.
In other words, Camunda lets us design business processes, orchestrate them, automate them, and monitor them:
Camunda is built to handle complex, long-running processes represented using the BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) standard. Different processes can communicate with each other by passing variables across workflows.
