Next week our founder Simon Moffatt will be hosting two panels at the Future Identity Festival in London. The two day event hosted an array of stages focused on financial services and fraud, identity and access management and fintech solutions – with a broad array of sponsors and suppliers too.
Simon will be hosting two panels on day two of the event, on the identity and access management stage.
First up is a panel on non-human identity entitled “Who goes there? Managing non-human identity access management”. Machine identities are scaling fast. They now outnumber humans and come with complex lifecycles. Service accounts, APIs, workloads all need identity governance. The panellists will discuss securing machine-to-machine (M2M) interactions in cloud and IoT environments, managing identity and access for bots, APIs, RPA, and service accounts and how AI, automation, and quantum computing will impact machine identity security.

Later on day, Simon will host a second panel taking a look at cloud, entitled “Securing identities and information in the cloud”. With large scale cloud adoption becoming so common, securing identities and information has become paramount, with challenges ranging from managing privileged access to defending against identity-based attacks like phishing and token theft. This panel will explore strategies for implementing Zero Trust architectures, automating identity lifecycle management, and integrating identity threat detection across multi-cloud environments.
The organisers describe the event as:
Whether your work is in financial services, social media, retail, gaming, telco, healthcare or beyond, your digital identity strategy will great effects on your security, efficiency, user experience and compliance.
Join your peers to overcome your concerns around digital identity wallets, onboarding, identity verification, data protection, inclusion, privacy, inter-operability or offering customers seamless experiences. The Future Identity Festival will explore the key trends and technologies, equipping you with all the tools you need to be a digital identity rockstar.
Our FID Fraud & FinCrime stage returns for a second year, following last year’s successful debut. New for 2025, we’re launching the FID IAM stage to delve deeper into all things identity management, access, security and authentication.
