hey hello

Wardriving is the practice of searching for Wi-Fi wireless networks by a person in a moving vehicle using a laptop or other mobile device. Here’s how to do it ethically and effectively using Kali Linux

steps to follow

initially we need to lsusb command to check whether our adapter is connected to the kali machine or not

lsusb
tq mami for your gift that made my background look good

And next step is to put the adapter in a monitor mode before that we need to check using the command

iwconfig
output:
└─$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=20 dBm
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr=2347 B Fragment thr:off
Power Management:off
----------------------------------------
see mode:managed we have to change it to mode:monitor
