ChatGPT maker OpenAI has altered its usage policy to get rid of a prohibition on using its technology for "military and warfare" The change will now allow the company to work closely with the US military and possibly with the militaries of US allies. This will write a new chapter on the development of AI technologies and their potential uses in modern warfare.
