New features and assets for SAP Business Network for Logistics have been released over the last weekend! With this blog, I would like to share the highlights of the 2312 release. It is intended for shippers and solution owners, carriers and data providers as well as sales and presales colleagues who already have a detailed understanding of SAP Business Network for Logistics.
Below, please get an overview of the features.
Connectivity and Integration
New filter option in ‘Manage Integration Log Version 2’
In ‘Manage Integration Log Version 2’, you can now filter entries in the ‘Flow Direction’ column.
SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace
Export business data
When a model is deployed, you can now export your business data including the tracked processes and corresponding events. The data is download in ZIP format. For more, see Guide for Model Administrators.
Please note that as a prerequisite, the user needs to hold the model admin role.
The following restrictions apply:
Track Shipments app: New tab ‘Emissions’
On the ‘Shipment Details’ page, the ‘Emissions’ tab was added for solution owners to track the emission data of a shipment. You can get an overview of greenhouse gas emissions along with climate-relevant information such as energy consumption. The data can be analyzed per stage and climate factor. The ‘Additional Information’ tab, which is the legacy version for displaying emission data, will be deprecated in the future.
SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration
New functional training video available for the ‘Self-Book Dock Appointment’ app
In addition to product documentation, carriers can now lean how to use the ‘Self-Book Dock Appointment’ app with the help of a functional training video.
SAP Business Network intelligent insights add on for SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace
Enable/disable predefined analytical stories
You now have the option to enable or disable predefined analytic stories for global track and trace in the ‘Set up Analytics’ app.

Visualize shipment risk on map view
The logistics situation room can now visualize shipment risks from the global track and trace solution on the map view. Please note, only risks that are created after the risk monitoring has been enabled can be visualized. For more information on how to configure the risk monitoring service, see ‘Additional Configuration’.
