The release of 4.1 comes with some exciting updates. Web management address discovery now becomes a breeze with Autodetection. Firmware Updates now support Panduit Gen5 and nVent Enlogic EN2.0 rack PDUs. Not to mention, the Location Layout offers enhanced floor plan visualization with convenient export options. These updates and more provide you with better control and improved visibility.
We’ve added a cool new feature that automatically fills in the device web interface address during the discovery process. Plus, we’ve also implemented a new action that lets you easily launch the interface of an asset. For rack PDUs and small UPSs, it’ll use the SNMP communication IP address, and for servers, it’ll use the IPMI/BMC address. And hey, if you’re a Power User or above, you can even manually set this property.
If you are using the Panduit Gen5 or the nVent Enlogic EN2.0 rack PDUs, you can now breathe easy because the latest firmware updates are now available automatically for these units through Hyperview. Staying on top of firmware updates ensures the units continue to perform as expected.
Now in the floor plan layout, when you’re hovering over it, you’ll see the temperature and humidity pop up. And you can now export the location layout into a PDF, PNG, or JPEG. So, whether you’re prepping for a meeting or just need to share the layout with your team, you’ve got plenty of options.
There’s a neat update to the ServiceNow CMDB sync. It’s now smart enough to catch indirect changes in the asset hierarchy, even during the smaller incremental updates. This means less hassle for you, because Hyperview is keeping an eye on the big picture and the little shifts all at once.
The Linux Data Collector got another upgrade. Now it plays nice with IxOS and WMI. This means it’s more versatile than ever, capturing all the info you need without a hitch. You can keep on collecting valuable data from your CMDB with even less worry about compatibility issues.
