Generative AI
One of the most anticipated and exciting innovations of the 2H 2023 release includes the ability to leverage embedded AI capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting to drive recruiter efficiency. These new capabilities deliver generative AI capabilities to assist recruiters and hiring managers with creating compelling content for job descriptions and providing them with tailored interview questions.
Previously a time consuming and tedious task, recruiters can now enhance job descriptions using AI recommendations, allowing jobs to be tailored specifically to the role and skills they are hiring for. Using generative AI, recruiters and hiring managers can leverage information in the requisition and job profile, including skills and competencies, as well as existing job description text to generate an enhanced, personalized job description.
Additionally, available directly within Microsoft Teams, interviewers can benefit from AI-generated recommended interview questions based on details from the job description, ensuring they are fully prepared to engage with candidates. This also allows interviewers to be able to prepare for their upcoming interview without having to leave tools they frequently spend their time on.
Reimagined Applicant Management Tool
Now generally available, we have redesigned the applicant management tool to improve the ability for recruiters to search, filter, view, and manage applicants. The applicant workbench offers new capabilities including a refreshed user interface, new navigation capabilities, and new sorting and filtering capabilities, enabling talent acquisition teams to identify, screen, and hire the right candidates more quickly. This feature is automatically enabled by default, and has now become opt-out.
Microsoft Teams Integration
With this release, we have delivered new functionalities for the integration between SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Microsoft Teams to allow recruiters and hiring managers to more easily accomplish recruiting tasks and simplify the interview process, with capabilities embedded within the flow of work.
Recruiters scheduling interviews in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting can now include a Microsoft Teams meeting link within their invitations. Within Microsoft Teams, interviewers will now receive a notification 24 hours before their scheduled interview to remind them and help them prepare with an embedded view of the candidate’s profile, preview skills and competencies needed for the role, and provide generated AI-recommended interview questions. Once the interview is complete, interviewers can quickly provide their evaluation and skills assessments of the applicant in Microsoft Teams. Data within Microsoft Teams is synchronized to SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting in real time, ensuring the candidate review is up to date and accurate. These new features enable interviewers to efficiently prepare and evaluate candidates quickly, without leaving the tools they are working in.
New Career Site Search
With this release we have improved the candidate experience, with a new job search functionality available on the career site. This modern, consumer grade user experience allows candidates to perform faceted searches, improves keyword and location search, and allows any data on a job requisition to be used as search options. Additionally, site administrators can benefit from flexible layouts and intuitive management capabilities.
Adoption of Skills in Interview Central
As on ongoing initiative to adopt skills across the SAP SuccessFactors suite, we continue to include skills in various parts of the recruiting process. This latest enhancement enables interviewers to evaluate applicants skills and capabilities, and provide ratings within Interview Central. Interviewers can rate applicants based on the skills added to a job requisition, helping to hire candidates with the right skills needed for a role. To simplify this process further, skills assessments provided by interviewers directly within Microsoft Teams will be synced into Interview Central. With each upcoming release, we are excited about the innovations that will be delivered to continue to promote skills-based hiring and AI-powered capabilities.
Paradox Browser Extension for SAP SuccessFactors
Paradox, an SAP Endorsed Partner App, known for their conversational-AI recruiting assistant capabilities, has released a new browser extension, to extend the recruiter experience within SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting. Available for SAP SuccessFactors and Paradox users utilizing a Chrome or Edge browser, this extension allows recruiters to easily add new candidates, simplifies communications with 1:1 texting, and automates scheduling without needing to leave the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting tool. Recruiters can work more effectively by leveraging Paradox capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors, allowing them to manage, view, and engage with candidates in the tools they are working in.
