Get engaged in the Customer Engagement Initiatives (CEI) for SAP Commerce Cloud to provide your feedback on relevant product development topics. The CEI enables you as an SAP customer or partner, to get early insights into topics and engage directly with the product development team to influence future deliverables. Read below for more details on the projects open for registration in the SAP CEI Cycle 2023-3.
The projects are open for registration until November 11, 2023. Click the link in the title to register on SAP Customer Influence Portal.
On November 18, 2022, SAP Commerce Cloud released version 2211.0, and with that, introduced the Continuous Innovation release model. Since then, the majority of our customers have upgraded to 2211 and adapted their processes to take smaller, more frequent Updates on a monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly or bi-annual basis, as opposed to taking large Upgrades annually or every two years. The new model ensures customers stay on the latest and most secure update versions, and can take advantage of new innovations more rapidly and with greater agility.
Throughout the past year, the product team has proactively collected feedback from early adopters of 2211 to ensure the right communication and tools are in place for a smooth transition. For this CEI project, the product team would like to expand the feedback round further and engage with more customers who have already upgraded, or are in the process of upgrading, to SAP Commerce Cloud 2211, to get feedback on how they run the new update process or on challenges in adopting SAP Commerce Cloud 2211.
SAP Commerce Cloud, Cloud Automation is researching the possibility to offer Customer Managed Keys in addition to System Managed Keys for encryption of data stored in customers’ commerce environments. The product management team wants to explore this option for existing and new customer installations, and learn more about customer requirements related to operations and use cases for key management.
How do I register on the Customer Influence website? An overview of programs and how to join can be found on SAP Influence and Adopt.
Follow-up after registration: When you register for a project, you will be invited to an introductory call with the SAP project lead. At this point further participation is optional. Typically, all activities are governed by the Feedback Agreement with SAP.
