Here we are with another fantastic colleague I am very impressed by and happy to present.
This is Nadezhda Prokopieva, she is a full-time working student, and below you can see what excites her in her job with the new S4/HANA Waste management and above
Role:
Developer Associate
For how long have you been with the team?
I have been on the team since June 2023, so it has been around five months now.
What is your favorite thing about working on EHS Waste Management?
Environment protection is something I have been passionate about since I was little. And because of that working at EHS, it’s not only my job but a cause I feel connected to.
Can you share one challenge you’ve faced in your role, and how did you overcome it?
Currently, I’m in my last year of university. So, working and studying simultaneously is a bit of a challenge. Some days I’ll wake up early to attend my classes before work, other days I’ll work later in the evening, so I can go to university during work hours. But the fact that all colleagues are understanding and helpful is really what makes it manageable.
What are you most excited about working on in the next year?
For me that definitely would be the new tasks along with their challenges. Additionally, the experience and knowledge that come after their completion.
What advice would you give to someone who is interested in working in the software industry?
Be consistent and passionate. Ask questions. A lot of them. And don’t settle when it gets comfortable, if it’s too easy, you’re in the wrong direction.
Bonus question 1: What is your favorite feature of our product?
Maybe the creation of a waste transportation document. It was the first feature I worked on, and it was somehow exciting, interesting, and really confusing at the same time.
Bonus question 2: Care to share a hobby or interest?
For sure reading and baking, as well as traveling. In the past few months weekend trips to close destinations have become something I truly enjoy.
